Vicky Kaushal is gearing up to star in another out and out family entertainer, The Great Indian Family. Having a knack for quirky characters, Vicky Kaushal has got us excited for the upcoming film too. Recently, he also introduced himself through a funky bhajan, also the first song from TGIF, Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aa Ja.
Now, Vicky Kaushal has opened up about TGIF and being lucky to have found a film from his favorite genre.

Speaking about the same, he says, “I remember when I was growing up, some of my favourite memories were about us as a family going to a theatre and watching a film that we all could enjoy together. I used to look forward to such films because it became an event for my family. It was just a lovely experience, an unforgettable one.”
He added, “So, when I decided to become an actor, I hoped I could do a film that families would love to come out and see. I wanted to deliver the same experience that I got. I’m really proud to be a part of a family entertainer like TGIF because of the beautiful message that it will deliver to audiences.”
The first song from the film was dropped recently and we all have our eyes on Vicky’s charm. The actor will be seen alongside Manushi Chillar in The Great Indian Family. Along with the two, the film also carries an ensemble star cast including actors like Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Sadiya Siddiqui, Alka Amin, Srishti Dixit and Bhuvan Arora. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Yash Raj Films, TGIF will release on 22 September, 2023.
