Vicky Kaushal reveals special request he made to the pandit during wedding with Katrina Kaif: Jaldi nipta dena please

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif tied the knot in December last year, in an intimate wedding ceremony. The couple got married in Rajasthan in the presence of close friends and family. Kaushal, who is the next guest, along with actor Sidharth Malhotra on the Karan Johar hosted show Koffee With Karan 7, opened up about his marriage to Katrina. The actor spoke about his love story.

The Govinda Naam Mera actor spilled the beans on his wedding with Katrina. According to a report in ETimes, during the conversation on Koffee With Karan 7, Vicky Kaushal revealed he made a special request to the pandit at his wedding with Katrina Kaif. He shared what he told the pandit at his wedding, after the random news that made rounds on the internet.

Kaushal said, “While all these random news were making the rounds, I was just there with the pandit ji saying, jaldi nipta dena please. Ek ghante se jyada nahi (please compete all wedding rituals soon; they should not take more than an hour).”

The actor added, “Every day during the wedding, these funny memes, tweets and messages would be shared on the internet and we were aware. We had my friends who read them out for us to have a good laugh. We used to have a blast finding them.” During the episode, Kaushal also spoke about his previous appearance on Koffee With Karan. He said that his moment on the couch was his way of knowing that Katrina knew he even existed. Kaushal even revealed where he met Katrina for the first time, after manifesting it on the Koffee couch.

Talking about the wedding, Kaushal and Kaif tied the knot in Sawai Madhopur’s Six Senses Fort Barwara. The couple hosted a lavish three-day wedding affair which was attended by only close friends and family. Sharvari Wagh, Mini Mathur, Kabir Khan, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, were amongst a few who attended the nuptials. The couple got married on December 9, 2021.

On the work front, Katrina has the film Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi, Jee Le Zaraa and Phone Bhoot. She even has Tiger 3 with Salman Khan. Vicky has a movie with Laxman Utekar, Immortal Ashwathama, Sam Bahadur, Govinda Naam Mera and a few other projects.
