Vicky Kaushal REVEALS why he didn’t react to engagement rumours with Katrina Kaif

Though actor Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have not officially accepted their relationship, they are still grabbing the headlines. It is said Vicky is dating his rumoured girlfriend Katrina. Somewhere in August, it was reported that the two even had a secret Roka ceremony which was then dismissed. Only recently, he broke his silence and revealed that he will get engaged soon. Now, while speaking to radio host Siddharth Kannan, Vicky revealed why he chose to keep a mum on engagement rumours with his rumoured girlfriend Katrina Kaif. The Sardar Udham revealed that he had no mental space to deal with the rumours whereas he even mentioned that he had his blinders on and focusing on the work.

“To be honest, mere paas woh mental space hi nahi tha (I didn’t have the mental space), because I was right in the middle of a shoot… Funnily enough, what happens is, these rumours start at 9 o’clock in the morning by the media and by 4.30, the media only negates the same rumours and says ‘no, it’s not true’. So, you don’t have to do anything,” he told the radio host Kannan, adding, “I had my blinders on, on my work, and I keep focusing on work.”

On being asked if he was affected at all, Vicky said, “Kai baar yeh sab rumours (Many times, these rumours) make you laugh and then you just carry on with your work.”

On the other hand, amidst the engagement rumours, Katrina Kaif attended Vicky’s Sardar Udham movie screening which definitely added more fuel to the fire. A video of Katrina giving him a tight hug even surfaced on social media and it literally broke the internet.

Besides all the rumours, talking about his work profile, Vicky Kaushal is basking in praises for his recently released film, Sardar Udham. He will be next seen in The Immortal Ashwatthama, Mr Lele and Sam Bahadur.
