The official trailer of Sam Bahadur has turned the Meghna Gulzar directorial into one of the most anticipated movies of the year. After Badhte Chalo, the second song ‘Banda’ from Sam Bahadur is out. It promises to leave you inspired for the nation as it gives a glimpse of the Indian Army’s strength.
The Banda song from Sam Bahadur begins with Vicky Kaushal depicting Sam’s unstoppable motive to work for its nation, “Naa rukta hai, naa mudta hai, bass chalta rehta hai!” Vicky portraying the marshal in the song really makes you see Manekshaw in him. In this song, Vicky leads the force of the army to fight the battle and not feel weak, despite being hurt and shot. The song also gives a brief glimpse of Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The two are playing pivotal roles in Sam Bahadur.

When Vicky Kaushal spoke about preparing for Sam Bahadur
In a video shared by the Sam Bahadur director on her Instagram, Vicky shared details of his transformation for the movie. He recalled his first meeting with the director. He said, “The first meeting between Meghna and I on Sam Bahadur happened in 2019. Before going on floor, we would meet for 5-6 hours just for reading sessions and workshops. I think the prep for Sam Bahadur has been tremendous and it’s been very meticulous.”
Vicky Kaushal is playing the role of Sam Manekshaw, the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. So far, the teaser, trailer, posters, and songs have left the audience waiting with bated breaths for Sam Bahadur to hit the release date of 1st December, 2023.
