Vicky Kaushal to star in Jee Le Zara with Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt?

Last August, Bollywood divas like Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt took everyone by surprise when they announced to come together for a road trip film, titled, Jee Le Zara. After the blockbuster Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, fans were super excited to hear about this venture which will be helmed by Farhan Akhtar and written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Katagi. Having said that, soon after it was reported that Farhan will be starring as one of the leads in the film. Now, it is said that another male actor is all set to join the star cast who will be seen opposite Katrina and he is none other than her husband and actor Vicky Kaushal.

That’s right! According to a report, the makers have approached Vicky for the film; however, the final confirmation on the same is yet to be made. A source tells Bollywood Hungama, “The decision of approaching Vicky Kaushal to feature in the film is pure gold. Now add to that the plan is to cast him opposite Katrina Kaif, which will make Jee Le Zaraa the first film the couple feature in together. This in itself is a marketing dream and makes promoting a film that much easier.” 

“With Farhan Akhtar casting himself and now Vicky also being roped in that leaves just one male lead role vacant. And casting one person is far easier than three, and that too in a film that is based on three female leads,” the source added.

Meanwhile, after the announcement of the new film, Katrina had shared a post with the girls and wrote, “This makes my heart smile I just love these girls and being around each other is just too much fun always – combine that with a great script, awesome director, and a road trip and a film and the sky’s the limit”
