While talking to us, Vicky spoke at length about his training. He said, “Majorly it was physical to gain weight and look more tough and bulkier. I really had to go through a drill to get a vibe of a military guy. No matter if I am sitting, I should feel like a military guy. It was a very difficult drill physically where the boot camp training was about three hours of endurance and stamina building.”
He further added, “There was military training where we were taught the military basics and the details of tactical and obstacle training. Also, there was arms and ammunition training where we got aware of different guns, how to load, unload the gun and how to jump and crawl with it. All of the training came into place with three months of training which was physically very exhausting. But at the same time just because it was the character of a military officer I was charged all the time as it was required.”
Directed by Aditya Dhar, ‘Uri’ will hit the screens on January 11, 2019.
