Last month, speculations surrounding Vicky Kaushal replacing Akshay Kumar in Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘LOL: Land Of Lungi’ were at its peak. It was reported that Akshay, who is busy with projects like ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, couldn’t take time out for ‘LOL: Land Of Lungi’. ‘LOL’ is a Hindi remake of superstar Ajith starrer Tamil film ‘Veeram’.
While everyone was excited to see Vicky Kaushal star in an out and out action-comedy, our sources inform that the actor is no longer a part of the project. Yes, you read that right. Vicky won’t be starring in this ‘Veeram’ remake.
Over the last few years, Vicky has emerged as one of the most sought after actors in Bollywood. After making his debut with ‘Masaan’ (2015), Vicky has come a long way. In the last four years, Vicky has achieved a lot through sheer hard work.
With ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’, Vicky established the fact that he can single-handedly make a film a box office hit. The actor is currently busy shooting for Udham Singh biopic. He also has Karan Johar’s Takht’ and ‘Bhoot’ in his kitty. While the real reason behind Vicky no longer being a part of ‘LOL’ is yet to be known, we are assuming that his choc-a-block diary made him walk out of it.
