After Ranbir Kapoor, the man who is getting all the love and appreciation for his role in ‘Sanju’ is Vicky Kaushal. In the biopic based on Sanjay Dutt’s life where Ranbir plays Sanjay, Vicky was seen in the role of his best friend, Kamlesh who was fondly called as Kamli.

And it’s very sad to know that owing to his work schedule, Vicky was unable to watch ‘Sanju’.

But, thanks to the makers of the movie, Vicky who is currently in Serbia, shooting for his next Bollywood film ‘Uri’, finally managed to watch the film he had been waiting to see.

Vicky shared a video where he is in a theatre with his ‘Uri’ team and everyone is all excited for ‘Sanju’. Check it out:

According to Vicky’s post, Bollywood films don’t get played in Serbia. So, what his director, Rajkumar Hirani and Fox Star Studios, the distributor of the film, did next is the sweetest.

Sharing about the same, Vicky posted:

Talking about ‘Uri’, the film is going to be based on Indian army’s surgical strike in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, that was carried out in September 2016 after the Uri terror attacks. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari and will also mark television actor, Mohit Raina’s debut in Bollywood.

Vicky will be seen as the lead commander-in-chief who leads the operation of the surgical strike. The ‘Raazi’ actor will be bulking up for this role. Sharing about his film, Vicky said, “Really excited to get into this because I think this might just be one of the most toughest part that I have played till date, both physically and emotionally.”

The movie is being directed by debutante director Aditya Dhar and will release in September 2018, reportedly.
