Video alert! Kangana Ranaut takes a dip in holy river Ganga to seek blessings for ‘Manikarnika’

The first look of Kangana Ranaut‘s upcoming film ‘Manikarnika’ was released recently. The beautiful actress will be seen essaying the role of Rani Lakshmibai, the Queen of Jhansi, in the film and we must say that Kangana has dived deep into the skin of her character of her film. Going by the theme of the movie, the cast and the makers of the film unveiled the first look in the holy city of Varanasi. Of course, when you are in Varanasi, how can you miss the divine Ganga aarti? Kangana did not only perform the aarti on the banks of the holy river, but she also dived into the river as per the tradition of washing off ones sins.

The videos and pictures of hers performing the pooja and plunging into Ganga river have made it online. Dressed in a beautiful golden coloured saree, Kangana personified the Indian nari at the event. Thousands of people gathered at the banks of river Ganga to witness this beautiful actress carrying out the ritual and seek blessing of the mighty river for her upcoming film.
