Vidya Balan Returns After 15 Months

Vidya Balan had taken a 15 month hiatus from the screen, but this news was unknown to her . This versatile actress is all set to hit the silver screen with a bang, with her next a comedy- Ghanchakker , with co star Emraan Hashmi. Vidya will depict the role of a loud Punjabi housewife in it.

According to sources,She said, “There was a 15-month break after ‘Kahaani. But it was a not a break, I was doing things. After ‘Kahaani’, I started preparing for ‘Ghanchakkar’, I got married. I just took a month-long break. Then I began ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’. Then the Cannes Festival. I have been working these past 15 months.”

Recently the actress along with her costar Emraan, has been promoting the movie allover India. She is also quite pleased with her performance as a Punjabi housewife and the way the movie has turned out.
