Vidya Balan’s ‘The Dirty Picture’ co-star Arya Banerjee found dead at her apartment in Kolkata

Arya Banerjee, who was seen with Vidya Balan in the movie ‘The Dirty Picture’ was found dead at her residence in Kolkata on Friday. She lived in an apartment in Jodhpur Park, South Kolkata. Reportedly, her body was covered in blood when the police arrived at her home.

According to a report by Times Of India, Arya’s maid had informed the police after Arya was not receiving at calls when she went to work at her apartment. The police then broke into Arya’s home and found her dead on the bed with nose bleeds and vomit. The cops are currently investigating the mysterious death of the actress.

Arya’s real name was Devdatta Banerjee. She was the youngest daughter of the renowned sitar player Pandit Nikhil Banerjee. She had made her debut in Bollywood with ‘Love Sex Aur Dhoka’ and later went on to star in Milan Luthria’s ‘The Dirty Picture’.
