Vidya Balan turns Rani Lakshmibai, Razia Sultana, and Mirabai

We are sure you might be thinking that Vidya Balan will be next seen in biopics on Rani Lakshmibai, Razia Sultana and Mirabai. Well, no she won’t be seen in any biopics but the actress will be donning the avatars of these historical figures in her upcoming film ‘Begum Jaan’.

Director Srijit Mukherji said, “It’s definitely not for a dream sequence. Some portions of the sequence are already in the cans and the rest will be filmed over the next few days.”

It is said that Rick Roy has designed the costumes for Vidya for the scenes. The actress also did her preparations to get the right body language. Vidya trained herself in horse riding lessons which helped her for the sequence. Srijit further stated, “I offered her to use a body double but she insisted on riding herself and has done a fabulous job with it.”

Well, Kangana Ranaut will also be seen as Rani Lakshmibai in Ketan Mehta’s directorial which will be a biopic on the freedom fighter.
