Vidya Balan wraps up the shooting of ‘Tumhari Sulu’, receives a special gift

After playing the titular role of fierce and badass ‘Begum Jaan’, actress Vidya Balan is all set to entertain us as a radio jockey in her next release ‘Tumhari Sulu‘. She has wrapped up the shooting of this film and she took to her Instagram account to share this news.

She shared a picture with the entire crew of ‘Tumhari Sulu’ and she captioned it as, “A happy picture of a happy crew of #TumhariSulu � … a picture which releases on 1st December 2017 ��.” [sic] (Also Check: Get ready to groove on ‘Hawa Hawaii’ again, this time with Vidya Balan)

Along with this picture, the actress has shared something more interesting. She has received a special gift from film’s director Suresh Triveni. Keeping in mind the theme of the film, the director gifted Vidya a radio set. The actress has shared a GIF where she is seen holding this gift and giving a flying kiss to her fans. She has captioned it as, “Trust you to come up with the most apt gift …a real radio for your reel radio jock �. Thankoo for your thoughtfulness @sureshtriveni �…And above and beyond all else, Thankoooo for being YOU and Thankoooo for the most unique,exceptional,blessed,love-filled experience called TUMHARI SULU ❤️� ❤️. Truly, Tumhari Sulu.” [sic]

This will be the second time after ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ (2006) that Vidya will be seen playing the role of a radio jockey.

‘Tumhari Sulu’ is produced by Atul Kasbekar and co-stars Manav Kaul, Neha Dhupia and RJ Malishka. The film is slated to release on December 1, 2017.
