Yesterday, OTT platform Disney+Hotstar announced a panel of all the Bollywood stars who will be releasing their upcoming films on their platform. While seven films are lined up for release, only 5 actors that included Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Abhishek Bachchan were invited on the panel. Vidyut Jammwal and Kunal Kemmu were not invited despite their movies releasing on the same OTT platform.
This virtual press conference announced the release of ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, ‘Bhuj’, ‘The Big Bull’, ‘Sadak 2’, ‘Dil Bechara’, ‘Khuda Haafiz’ and ‘Loot Case’. Vidyut Jammwal made sure to take a dig at the conference saying it is a cycle where only big stars are deemed worth of an invitation.
Now, Kunal Kemmu also shared a very cryptic post as he wrote, “Izzat aur pyaar maanga nahi kamaya jaata hai. Koi na de toh usse hum chhote nahi hote. Bas maidaan khelne ke liye barabar de do chhalaang hum bhi oonchi laga sakte hai(Love and respect are not demanded but earned. One doesn’t become small if you don’t receive that. Just give us an equal empty ground to play, we can also jump high) sic.”

It is no secret that Kunal did not sound happy in his tweet. Earlier, Vidyut had also slammed Disney+Hotstar in his tweet as he wrote, “A BIG announcement for sure!! 7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES(sic).”

Meanwhile, talking about Kunal’s movie ‘Lootcase’, it will also star Gajraj Rao, Rasika Duggal, Ranvir Shorey, and Vijay Raaz. The movie is directed by Rajesh Krishnan and produced by Fox Star Studios and Soda Films Productions.
