Vidyut Jammwal to play a blind man in ‘Aankhen 2’

Vipul Shah’s 2002 directorial ‘Aankhen’ was an unusual thriller that garnered praises from audience and critics alike. The hit thriller is now all set to get a sequel.

‘Aankhen 2’ is in the offing with Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Vidyut Jammwal and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles. The sequel will be directed by Anees Bazmee and will see Vidyut play a blind man.

Not just this, he will also be seen performing some daredevil stunts in the sequel. The actor has been preparing himself for the role, by interacting with the visually challenged people inorder to get into the skin of his character.

The shooting of the much-awaited sequel will kick start from April next year. The whole cast will be shooting for a nonstop three-months duration. The film is also said to release sometime next year.

The film also stars Ileana D’Cruz as the female lead.
