After carving a niche in south cinema, ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi actor is gearing up for the release of a Bollywood theatrical release with Jawan. He recently impressed the Hindi audience with his performances in Prime Video’s web show Farzi and his first Bollywood outing Mumbaikar, which released on Jio Cinema. The teaser prevue of the film headlined by Shah Rukh Khan has already left us gobsmacked and we are eagerly waiting for the film. To keep the hype around the film intact, the makers are surprising the audience. And now, after teasing us, they have unveiled the first look of Vijay Sethupathi from the film.

The actor will essay the role of an antagonist in Jawan. In the poster, the actor looks intense and we definitely can’t wait to watch more of it. Last week, Shah Rukh Khan shared first-look posters of Nayanthara’s character in the film. In the posters, Nayanthara looked feisty with a machine gun in her hands. Along with the pics, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “She is the thunder that comes before the storm! Nayanthara…”
Produced by Gauri Khan for Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan, helmed by Atlee Kumar, also stars Nayanthara, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Deepika Padukone. Jawan will hit cinemas on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Vijay’s upcoming movies
Apart from Jawan, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen in Merry Christmas alongside Katrina Kaif. Earlier this month, the makers unveiled the new poster of the film and revealed it will release on 15th December 2023. The Hindi version also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand.
