Vijay Varma shares lovely BTS pictures with Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt post Darlings success

Actor Vijay Varma is gaining the utmost love and appreciation from the fans post the success of Darlings. On Monday, the actor took to his Instagram account and dropped some lovely BTS moments with his co-stars Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah and Roshan Mathew. Among the photo dump, we also get to see a lovely selfie with superstar Shah Rukh Khan who is also the producer of the film.

Sharing the pictures on social media, Vijay mentioned that the film is made with a lot of love and effort and is the best team he can ever ask for. He wrote, “#Darlings is made with a lot of love and efforts by some of the most incredible creative minds and stalwarts. I was surrounded by people I learn from and aspire from. The best team one can ask for. Here’s the proof.” Earlier, in an interview with Indian Express, Vijay recalled how he was once told that he is not Shah Rukh Khan.

The Gully Boy actor said, “The underdog who came here ten years ago, is feeling seen right now. I took several leaps, risks and chances at the cost of almost breaking up my entire family. I ran away from home. So, they all feel a lot of respites now, they feared how I’d pull it off, it is not easy to go to Mumbai and become somebody. I was told ‘tu Shah Rukh Khan nahi hai’, but now Shah Rukh Khan has employed me for his film.”

“Now that I have a small body of work, I can’t afford to repeat what I’ve done before. So, that becomes one of the criteria while choosing the script. The other is to understand what I am doing in the film and the third, and the most important, is what is the film doing, what it is saying and how well it is saying it,” Vijay Varma added.
