Vijay Varma under family pressure to tie the knot with girlfriend Tamannaah Bhatia? Actor REVEALS

Vijay Varma is the one celebrity who has made the most number of headlines. He is a terrific actor who knows to portray complex characters with ease. On the other hand, the Vijay Varma recently made it official with his lady love and Lust Stories 2 co-star Tamannaah Bhatia. The two have been tight-lipped about their relationship for quite some time until Tamannaah confirmed it. In a recent interview, Vijay opened up about his family pressurizing him to get married.

Vijay Varma shares his family’s thoughts on his marriage

Talking to DNA, Vijay Varma opened up about questions and inquiries from his family regarding his marriage plans. Vijay revealed that he was no stranger to such pressure, particularly because he belongs to the Marwari community. He said, “I am a Marwari. In our community, boys are considered of a marriage-able age at 16. So, all this began very early with me and also ended very early because I went past the marriageable age. On top of that, I had become an actor by then so there was that too.”

Just like every parent is concerned about their kid getting married, the persistent inquiries about his marriage come from his mother. Vijay Varma shared that he has never given much thought to the matter. Vijay said, “My mother still asks me. On every phone call she still asks me but I am just able to dodge it because I am doing well in my life.”

Though he hasn’t spoken about his marriage plans with Tamannaah yet, we are eager to know what’s next for the couple. But, we believe that taking things slow is the best way.

On the work front, the couple was seen together in Lust Stories 2. Now, Vijay is gearing up for the release of his web series Kaalkoot. The show will premiere on JioCinema from 27 July 2023. On the other hand, Tamannaah will be seen in Bhola Shankar, releasing in theatres on 11 August 2023. In addition, she also has Jailer alongside superstar Rajinikanth.
