Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap issued a statement today and explained the reason behind dissolving Phantom Films. Not only that, Anurag also explained why he wasn’t able to take any action against his business partner Vikas Bahl, who was accused of sexual and mental harassment by one of the employees at the production house.
Now after Anurag, director Vikramaditya Motwane, who is also one of the founders of the production house, has issued a statement on Vikas Bahl. Motwane said that he, along with his other partners, offered every help that they could to the survivor. However, later it was the survivor who decided to stop pursuing the matter as her boyfriend didn’t want her name to come out in public.

Motwane also denied the accusations that he tried to shield Vikas Bahl. In fact, he went on to call Bahl a sexual predator who preyed on a young woman, abused her trust and ruined her life.
Just like Anurag, even Vikram offered his apologies to the survivor and vowed that this thing will never happen again on his watch.

The big question that arises is when will Vikas accept the accusations leveled against him. Also, what will happen to his upcoming film ‘Super 30’, that stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role.
