Vikrant Massey announces retirement from acting at 37; says, “2025, we would meet each other for one last time”

Vikrant Massey has become a prominent name in the industry. The actor is known to deliver back-to-back hits with films like 12th Fail, Sector 36, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba and The Sabarmati Report among others. While the actor has been getting love from all corners, he has shared a social media post that has left everyone in shock. Vikrant Massey has announced retirement from acting at the age of 37.

In the note on Instagram, Vikrant Massey wrote, “Hello, The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor. So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many a years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted!”

Fans reaction to Vikrant quitting acting

As soon as he announced retirement, his co-star Raashii Khanna reacted, “What? No!”. A fan speculated, “Is it a gimmick or any upcoming project or really u retiring from movies”. While another wrote, “I really want this to be some kind of PR & not real.
You are one of the finest actors of today!”. A netizen also wrote, “Good actors like you shouldn’t retire so soon buddy. You are one of the finest i know. More power to you! Keep shining.”

On the work front, Vikrant is working on two films – Yaar Jigri and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. In the latter one, he will share screen space with Shanaya Kapoor whick will mark her debut.
