After announcing his retirement from acting, Vikrant Massey has recently watched his film The Sabarmati Report along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister of India Amit Shah and among other stars cast of the film held at the Balyogi Auditorium in Parliament, New Delhi.

Vikrant Massey calls a day to remember for the rest of my life’ post announcing his retirement from acting

The 37-year-old actor announced retirement from acting on his social media in the morning and on the same day, he called it “a day to remember for the rest of my life” during the screening of his film The Sabarmati Report.

Post his movie screening, Vikrant addressed the media and talked about his experience; he said, “I watched the film with the Prime Minister, all cabinet ministers, and many MPs. It was a special experience. I still can’t fully express it in words because I am so happy… This is the highest point of my career, that I got to watch my film with the Prime Minister.”

He also took to Instagram and shared pictures of the screening and wrote, “A day to remember for the rest of my life (namaste and red heart emojis). Eternally grateful to the Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji for sparing the time to watch our movie (namaste and red heart emojis). Your words of appreciation shall never be forgotten.”

PM Modi also took to Twitter to share his review and said, “Joined fellow NDA MPs at a screening of ‘The Sabarmati Report.’ I commend the makers of the film for their effort.”

Also, Mandi MP and actress Kangana Ranaut who attended the screening expressed, “It is a very important film… the previous government hid facts from the people. The film shows how people played politics in such a grave situation back then.”

In addition to this, honourable Union Home Minister Amit Shah on X (formerly known twitter) shared his delight after watching The Sabarmati Report and wrote, “‘द साबरमती रिपोर्ट’ फिल्म ने देशवासियों को गोधरा के सच से परिचित कराया। इस फिल्म के माध्यम से लोगों को पता चल रहा है कि कैसे एक इकोसिस्टम ने इतने बड़े सच को सालों तक देश से छिपा कर रखा। ⁠आज प्रधानमंत्री श्री @narendramodi जी और NDA के सांसदों के साथ यह फिल्म देखी। इस प्रशंसनीय प्रयास के लिए ‘द साबरमती रिपोर्ट’ फिल्म की पूरी टीम को बधाई।”

Vikrant co-star Raashii Khanna post the screening said, “We have watched the movie a number of times but today was very special as we got to watch it with the Prime Minister… It’s a surreal feeling. It’s a high point in my career. The film has been made tax-free in many states and other states are also on the path of making it tax-free. I hope people watch it in large numbers.”

Veteran actor Jeetendra, who also watched the film with Narendra Modi, expressed, “I told PM Modi that I have spent 50 years in the film industry and for the first time because of my daughter, I have watched a movie with PM. PM Modi told me that I am also watching the first film after becoming the Prime Minister.”
