Vikrant Massey starrer 12th Fail to have an OTT release on THIS date

Vikrant Massey starrer 12 Fail released this year and it turned out to be a surprise hit. Apart from Vikrant Massey, 12th Fail also starred Medha Shankar in the lead. The movie was directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and it earned praise and appreciation from all over. 12th Fail, being a real-life tail not only captivated hearts of the audience but it also earned stupendously well at the box office. Given that 12th Fail etched a mark in the theatres, the audience is waiting for the OTT release of the movie.

12th Fail to have an OTT release soon

Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail will begin streaming on OTT giant Disnay+Hostar from 29th December, 2023. This will bring the year to a perfect end. Streaming giant Disney+Hotstar took to its social media handle to announce the OTT release date of 12th Fail. Sharing a video clip from the movie, its caption read, “If there is one movie you must watch before 2024 starts, this one has to be it! #12thFail streaming on 29th December.” And we totally agree to it!

Speaking of 12th Fail collections at the box office, it enjoyed a phenomenal run. The movie was rich in content and was engaging as well. 12th Fail is a movie based on a true story. It draws from the struggles of the millions of students who attempt the UPSC entrance exam. But at the same time, it goes beyond that one exam. It encourages people to not lose heart in the face of failure and to restart. The movie drew inspiration from Anurag Pathak’s best-selling novel of the same name. It traces the journey of IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS Officer Shraddha Joshi.

Bollywood Bubble gave 12th Fail 3.5 stars. A part of the review reads, “It is Vikrant Massey’s honesty as an actor and Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s sensibility as a filmmaker that make it a hit. This take of an underdog hero deserves appreciation and the audiences’ love and we definitely need more realistic films like this in our cinema.”
