Vikrant Massey has time and again proved his mettle as one of the finest breakthrough talents in India and be it his films or OTT series, has always served us quality performances that has been well-received by audiences and won the critics over.

Irrespective of the content’s commercial outcome or creative output, Massey has visibly been the saving grace of most of his films, the most recent being ‘Gaslight’. The actor stole the show and stood out from the ensemble, not surprising since he is unquestionably one of the best and most underrated actors in the country today.

Put Vikrant Massey in just about any role and expect a solid performance but for some reason he hasn’t got the right scripts or platforms to showcase that inherent talent. Which leaves us asking when this under-utilized talent will finally get his due (and the right scripts) that reiterate what most cinema aficionados already know?

Considering how the audience is dying to watch him in a film that’s befitting his talent, we have our hopes pinned on Vikrant Massey’s upcoming slate that includes Sector 36, a crime-thriller inspired by true events, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s text-to-screen adaptation of author Anurag Pathak’s bestseller 12th Fail, the action-thriller Mumbaikar and Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba, prequel of which he won rave reviews for.
