Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli issue statement; appeal paparazzi to not click their daughter’s picture

Being a celeb comes with its own pros and cons. At one hand you are receiving massive fan adulation and love from all over the world but on the other hand, you crave for basic things as privacy which the commoners usually take for granted.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their first child on January 11. While they are obviously over cloud nine over the arrival of their bundle of joy, however, they are concerned about their newborn daughter’s privacy. The power couple has made a strong appeal to paparazzi in Mumbai to not click their daughter’s pictures as they want to protect her privacy.

Virushka recently made an appeal to the paparazzi fraternity in Mumbai. In their appeal, the couple thanked the paps for showering them with their love over the years. Virushka also requested the paparazzi to help and support them in their endeavour to protect the privacy of their child.

“While, we will always ensure that you get all the content you need featuring us, we would request you to kindly not take or carry any content that has our child. We know that you will understand where we are coming from and we thank you for the same,” reads a part of Virushka’s note for the paparrazi.

Before Virushka made this appeal, a morphed picture of Anushka with her daughter had already went viral on social media. In fact, Virat’s elder brother Vikas Kohli had to issue a clarification when everyone mistook his post of generic baby pic as Virushka’s baby’s first picture.

Now that the power couple has made it clear that they don’t want the paps to enchroach their daughter’s privacy, we hope that their appeal doesn’t fall on deaf years.
