Virat Kohli to debut in ‘Bombay Velvet’ ?

Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s movie ‘Bombay Velvet‘ second trailer was launched recently. The lead cast of the film did the honour of releasing the trailer. The movie also has filmmaker Karan Johar debuting in it. The recent surprising news making the rounds of Bollywood, is that cricketer Virat Kohli too will make his Bollywood debut in Bombay Velvet. He will romance his real life girlfriend Anushka Sharma on screen.

Sources revealed that, Virat Kohli will be seen sharing a few important scenes with Anushka Sharma in ‘Bombay Velvet’. Virat plays a cricketer in the film. As yet there is no official announcement of his debut. But going by the theme of the film that is set in the 60s, Virat may play the role of any cricketer from that generation.

‘Bombay Velvet, is based on historian Gyan Prakash‘s book ‘Mumbai Fables’, it narrates the story of how the city in ’60s became a metropolis. The film is set to release on May 15, 2015. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles.
