Vishal Bhardwaj decides to reschedule his film with Irrfan owing to the latter’s illness

Recently, we woke up to the disturbing news of Irrfan Khan being diagnosed with a rare disease. The actor announced it on social media and within a week, he let the world know that he is suffering from Neuroendocrine Tumour.

He has flown out of the country for the treatment and everybody has been praying for his good health. While, his health issues have raised a serious concern in the industry, his work commitments have also taken a backseat.

The actor was to start filming for the Sapna Didi biopic with Deepika Padukone. However, that won’t be the case anymore. Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj has tweeted expressing concern for the actor and also announcing that they would be rescheduling the movie. He tweeted, “Irrfan is a warrior and we know he will conquer this battle. Therefore @deepikapadukone, Prernaa @kriarj and I have decided to reschedule our film and start with renewed energy and celebration when our warrior returns as a winner.”
