Just a few days back, it was reported that the erotic thriller ‘Wajah Tum Ho‘ has been pushed ahead by two weeks. The movie that was to initially clash with Vidya Balan starrer ‘Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh’ on December 2 has now been pushed by two weeks and will be releasing on December 16. Ever since, this change of release date news was announced, everybody suspected that the makers wanted to avoid clashing with Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh’.
But, the director of ‘Wajah Tum Ho’, Vishal Pandya has refuted these speculations and said that demonetisation was the reason for the release date being postponed by two weeks.

Speaking to a leading daily, Vishal said, “The prime reason for us to push the release date is demonetisation. A large section of the audience is based in smaller towns where there is a severe crunch of new currency. So, it’s a collective decision taken by the whole team. We knew a long time back that ‘Kahaani 2’ would be releasing with us. So if we had to push the release date because of this, we would have done it a long time back.”
The man definitely has a point there. ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ stars Sharman Joshi, Sana Khaan, Gurmeet Choudhary and Rajniesh Duggall in it.
