Director Vivek Agnihotri’s film The Kashmir Files was released previous year and turned out to be one of the biggest hits. Not just this, it broke record in terms of the film’s return on investment. Speaking of the film turning out to be a hit, Vivek Agnihotri has announced the second part of it ‘The Kashmir Files Unreported’.

The Kashmir Files Unreported to have an OTT release

While The Kashmir Files was a theatrical release, the makers have decided to release The Kashmir Files in the format of web-series instead of a film. Announcing the upcoming project, director Vivek Agnihotri shared the teaser. He dropped an Instagram post saying, “PRESENTING: A lot of Genocide Deniers, terror supporters and enemies of Bharat questioned The Kashmir Files. Now bringing to you the VULGAR truth of Kashmir Genocide of Hindus which only a devil can question. Coming soon #KashmirUNREPORTED. Be ready to cry.”

The viewers have dropped down their comments on the post awaiting the film. A comment read, “Sir, Salute you!! Salute you for all your efforts to bring the Harsh Reality in front of all. Thank you Sir (folded hands emoji) Jai Hind.”

Another comment read, “Vivek ji a big salute to you for bringing our harsh reality in front of whole world. This is my story. I am myself a sufferer of this genocide. Thank you so much (folded hands emoji)”

Speaking of The Kashmir Files, the film landed itself into controversies and was even called a propaganda film. Despite this, the film turned out to be appreciated among the audience for bringing out the harsh realities of the Kashmir Genocide.

Vivek Agnihotri upcoming movie

While this upcoming project stands to be anticipated, the director is currently working over ‘The Vaccine War’ which will have a theatrical release in 11 languages likely during Dussehra. The film stars Raima Sen, Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar and Pallavi Joshi among others.
