The Kashmir Files Unreported Trailer: Vivek Agnihotri says ‘be ready to cry’ as he brings the ‘eye-opening’ series

The Kashmir Files Unreported trailer is out now. The upcoming web series has been created by Vivek Agnihotri and Pallavi Joshi. The Kashmir Files Unreported web series will be released on Zee5 soon. The two-minute long trailer gives a glimpse of conversations with experts, victims and their families. Many victims are see getting emotional while talking about their story.

The Kashmir Files Unreported series will shed light on what led to the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits and the eventual removal of Article 370. The trailer also show glimpses of the horrific incident of Kashmir. The trailer looks intriguing. The Kashmir Files: Unreported is said to be ‘shocking, eye-opening and heart-wrenching’.

Vivek shared the trailer on his Twitter and wrote, “PRESENTING: A lot of Genocide Deniers, terror supporters & enemies of Bharat questioned The Kashmir Files. Now bringing to you the VULGAR truth of Kashmir Genocide of Hindus which only a devil can question. Coming soon #KashmirUNREPORTED. Be ready to cry.”

Talking about the upcoming web-series, Vivek Agnihotri said in a statement, “After 32 years when we made The Kashmir Files based on 4 years of extensive research, it opened people’s eyes. But there were polarizing views on the film – some felt that the movie portrayed only 10% of the reality and some felt that The Kashmir Files was a propaganda film. Therefore, it was important for us to open all the research and interviews we did in its purest and rawest form for people to understand that the truth is difficult to handle.” The filmmaker added that The Kashmir Files Unreported will ‘shatter you heart’.

The makers are yet to reveal The Kashmir Files Unreported’s release date. The Kashmir Files starring Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi was released in March last year. Despite being a part of many controversies, it did well at the box office.
