After the Mumbai Police has fined the Company actor Vivek Anand Oberoi for not wearing a mask and helmet, he has issued an apology. The actor has posted an apology note on his social media handle. He wrote, “Pyaar humein kis mod pe le aaya!Nikle they nayi bike par hum aur hamari jaan, bina helmet ke kat gaya chalaan!Riding without a helmet?Mumbai police will do a checkmate!Thank u @mumbaipolice for making me realise that safety is always most important. Be safe,Wear a helmet & a mask.”
Earlier Vivek had posted a video on Valentine’s day where he is seen riding his new Harley Davidson with his wife Priyanka Alva Oberoi riding pillion. He wrote, “What a start of this lovely valentine’s day with Main, Meri patni aur woh! A refreshing joyride indeed!”

We could see the joy in his eyes and face while taking the ride. He took his wife for a short drive in the city. Vivek’s is seen riding around Mumbai without wearing a helmet or a mask. Vivek’s video started doing rounds on social media after which Santacruz traffic police issued an e-challan of Rs 500 against the actor for not wearing a helmet.

An FIR was also registered against Vivek Oberoi in Mumbai’s Juhu police station on February 19. The FIR was filed against the actor for not wearing a mask. With coronavirus cases again rising in the state, the city’s administration had warned on February 18 to prosecute those who will violate the mandatory mask rule. We all make mistakes but admitting it in public takes a lot of courage and honesty. More so if you are a celebrity. Hats off, Vivek Anand Oberoi.
