Want to see Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai duo Ameesha Patel-Hrithik Roshan together? Gadar 2 actress hints at the reunion

Ameesha Patel is currently basking in the success of her recently released film Gadar 2. She marked her Bollywood debut in 2000 with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai alongside Hrithik Roshan. The film emerged as one of the highest grosser and boosted their careers. Their chemistry was loved by the audience. They also worked together in the romantic drama Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage, which came out in the year 2002. The film did not turn out to be a successful venture and the lead couple haven’t worked together since then. Recently, while promoting Gadar 2, Ameesha Patel opened up about reuniting with Hrithik Roshan.

During a conversation with a news portal, the actress was asked if she would be interested in collaborating with Hrithik once again. To which she replied, “I’d love to!.” Talking about the type of film she would like to work with him in, the Gadar 2 actress said, “A cute, fun love story with a little bit of comedy, great music, and lots of dance because we’re both good dancers.”

She went on to share that audience might love their chemistry, just like they are doing it with Sunny Deol. She said, “Like I have a great chemistry with Sunny, I have a great chemistry with Hrithik too and I’d love to work with him, so why not? I think we both debuted together and people would love that like they’ve loved Gadar too. I think they would love Hrithik and me back too”.

About Gadar 2

Talking about Gadar 2, the film marks Ameesha’s reunion with Sunny Deol after a long gap. While Sunny reprised his role of Tara Singh for the sequel, Ameesha played the role of Sakeena. The film was released in theatres on 11 August 2023 alongside Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2. Despite the clash, it turned out to be a rage among the audience and became the second highest grosser of the year within a week.
