Actress Vidya Balan set the fashion police screaming like banshees from her queer choice of clothes to her severe hairstyles, also over her sometimes boring sometimes clothes designed by none other than her favorite designer Sabyasachi.

Therein appears to be a twist in the tale as designer Nikhil Thampi revealed that he too was asked to design some clothes for Vidya’s red carpet appearances,“It was post the magazine spread on that look of an eccentric mix of black and white that I was approached and appreciated for getting a new side to Vidya. Knowing the fact she was a jury member, I was then asked to construct two-three looks. But at the last minute, it took a different route which I wasn’t aware of.”
