WATCH: Alia Bhatt’s Sehmat will peek into your soul, in ‘Raazi’ teaser

Meghna Gulzar is known for a poetic and realistic take on events, and the stories that she brings on screen are the ones that can shake you up. One such story is ‘Raazi’, which stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles, and is due to release on May 11, 2018.

While much has been under wraps, the director and Alia herself shared some stills on latter’s birthday.

And now, the makers have released the teaser of the movie, which features Sehmat, the character played by Alia. Watch her here in action, as she dons the exterior of a dutiful wife, while performing her duties to her nation, as a spy.

‘Raazi’ is the adaptation of ‘Calling Sehmat’, a book by Harinder Sikka. It revolves around a Kashmiri girl who is married to a Pakistani army officer, and turns a spy for India.
