At 60, with salt and pepper in his hair, and a dashing personality to boast of (which he has started incorporating in his choice of roles as well, each as diverse from the other), Anil Kapoor is truly giving everyone impersonation of the saying ‘age is just a number’. Who would have thought that this young lad, who went up the success ladder trying to mimic the epic Raj Kapoor, and some weird 80s’ movies (in fact, we would like to forget the decade), would eventually grow up into one of the most energetic, and simultaneously, a graceful actor. There is no denying that he has come a long way, and even now, gives us something to look forward to, with his performances. Be it the Majnu bhai in ‘Welcome’ series, or the uptight urban dad in ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, or even the jovial uncle in the recent ‘Mubarakan’, the man is unstoppable.
Recently, someone came across an old clipping of Anil and shared the same with him, which he subsequently posted, getting nostalgic. The movie that we are talking about, is some odd 35 years old, and was his first one, in Kannada. Not just that, the movie, named ‘Pallavi Anu Pallavi’ boasted of legends like Mani Ratnam and Ilayaraja associated with it.
Here’s the video, and Anil’s subsequent tweet. (Also Read: Airport spotting: Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Karan Johar make a stylish splash)

How time flies. In fact, many of us were not even born in the year 1983, when the movie came out. The young and innocent actor in the video has now grown to become one of the most versatile actors of Bollywood, and he deserves every bit of the applause and appraise that comes his way.
On work front, Kapoor Senior will next be seen in ‘Fanney Khan’ alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. The movie, which is a remake of Oscar-nominated Dutch film ‘Everybody’s Famous’, and deals with the sensitive issue of body shaming.
