Watch: Emraan Hashmi’s hilarious reaction when asked about biggest cheaters of India

The year 2019 has already begun and Bollywood is looking for fresh and unique ideas and as well as original content. Well, ‘Cheat India’ starring Emraan Hashmi is exactly a kind of film what viewers now demands.

Recently, producer Bhushan Kumar and Emraan Hashmi came together to make the announcement in the presence of the producer of ‘Thackeray’, Sanjay Raut and Shiv Sena’s chief Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aditya Thackeray that their film ‘Cheat India’ will release on January 18. The move was taken by producer Bhushan Kumar and Emraan Hashmi to avoid lash with ‘Thackeray’.

During the press conference, Emraan Hashmi, Aditya Thackeray and others were asked about their opinion on the country’s biggest economic offenders including Nirav Modi and Vijay Mallya. However, Emraan Hashmi’s hilarious reaction on the biggest cheaters of India caught our attention.

When a reporter asked Emraan whether the economic offenders should be brought back to India, the ‘Cheat India’ actor diplomatically said, “Currently I know only about one cheater whose name is Rocky aka Rakesh Singh – the lead character of the film. Regarding the corrupt, I will give my opinion after the press conference is over on some another platform.”

Answering the question, the actor further said, “Mallya and Modi – I mean Nirav Modi are the two corrupts coming into my mind currently and the other is Rakesh Singh….”

Soon enough Emraan clarified that by ‘Modi’ he referred to Nirav Modi and not PM Narendra Modi. At his clarification, the reporters and everyone present at the conference had a hearty laugh.

It is to be noted that the film ‘Cheat India’ sheds light on the corruption prevailing in the country’s education system. In the Soumik Sen directorial, Emraan Hashmi will be seen as the kingpin of an admissions racket that involves getting brilliant students to write engineering and management entrance exams for other candidates in exchange for money.
