Watch: Ranveer Singh pays a special tribute to Freddie Mercury on his Switzerland trip

Ranveer Singh,has been on a roll since long now, his latest period drama ‘Padmaavat’ garnered him accolades for his performance as the barbaric Sultan Alauddin Khilji. He has also wrapped his upcoming release ‘Gully Boy’, a Zoya Akhtar directorial that also features Alia Bhatt. Taking a break from his hectic schedule, Ranveer has zoomed off to the cool climes of Switzerland for a short vacation.

The actor who is also the official brand ambassador for Switzerland Tourism, has been treating his fans and followers on Instagram to some stunning pictures from his stay there. The ‘Befikre’ star recently paid a tribute to one of his all time favourite music icons- Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of the legendary rock band Queen.

The star known for his over the top antics, was spotted dressed in a brightest yellow jacket, white pants complete with a moustache, kohled eyes, gelled back hair and a stubble. The reason is that, Freddie was originally a Gujarati and his real name was Farrokh Bulsara. He was born to Parsi parents.
