The year was 2007, and the trailer of Farah Khan’s directorial ‘Om Shanti Om’, starring Shah Rukh Khan and a newcomer Deepika Padukone was released. And when this newcomer turned around flashing her dimples, not just Shah Rukh, but we too held our hearts, such was the innocence in her eyes and sweetness in her smile. Ten years hence, Deepika is still the same, even though she has reached pinnacles of success, and is still reaching new heights.
Lux Golden Rose Awards has been titillating us with beautiful and nostalgic videos of Lux divas, and so has been SRK, while he tweeted pictures of himself with each one of them. Now that we know why, it is for a special show called ‘Baatein With Baadshah’, wherein SRK would be interacting with these gorgeous women. And the first one to grace the seat was Deepika Padukone. This was much more than just a candid chat show, as in one of the moments, Deepika could not control her tears when Shah Rukh read her the letter that her mother wrote for her. And what made it even more special was, when after the letter had been read, SRK went ahead, wiped her tears and kissed her on the forehead. Gave us not only major ‘Om Shanti Om’ feels, replete with the background music, but also a glimpse of how genuine some of our stars are, whether on or off the screen.
Here’s the video grab posted by a fan page. Take a look and get ready to melt. (Also Read:Â Watch: Ranveer confesses his love for Deepika in the cutest way possible)

This is just so sweet.
On work front, Deepika is currently in the midst of raging controversies regarding her latest movie ‘Padmavati’, the release of which has been deferred due to protests all over the country. Let’s wait and watch what happens on that front.
Shah Rukh, on the other hand, would next be seen in Aanand L Rai’s next, where he would be seen as a dwarf.
