Sonam Kapoor’s latest film ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ has released and it deals with a very controversial topic of same-sex relationship. In an interview with DNA, the ‘Aisha’ actress was asked about whether she wants to direct a film like her contemporary female actors Konkona Sen Sharma and Kangana Ranaut.

Sonam said that she has trained in direction for six years and would love to do it. But as of now, she has no plans of directing and would like to concentrate on acting. The diva further said that she is currently very busy with her other ventures and for direction to take place she has to take two-three years off.

But, Sonam then forgot the name of Kangana Ranaut’s directorial debut ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ and had to be reminded about it.

Kangana Ranaut made her debut as a director with ‘Manikarnika’.
