What is Amitabh Bachchan’s special pet name for Deepika Padukone?

Bollywood’s gorgeous beauty Deepika Padukone will be seen playing daughter to the megastar of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan. The two actors are currently shooting for Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming film ‘Piku’, in which Big B and Deepika play father and daughter respectively. Deepu has been addressing Big B as Baba and Big B too has a special name for her.

Well it seems that it is not only Deepika Padukone, but also the other members of the cast and crew of the film, including Irrfan Khan, call Big B as Baba now.

Sources revealed that, “Bachchan sir likes the way Deepika and the others address him as Baba. To reciprocate the gesture, Big B has coined a nickname for Deepika too. He calls her Deepiku, nobody else addresses her by that name. The way they address each other, on and off the sets, shows the comfortable relationship they share.”

The movie Piku has been shot in Kolkata and Deepika and Amitabh are depicting Bengali characters in it.
