With just a few days to go before ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ releases, actors Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar are promoting the film on full swing. Recently during a conversation with Business of Cinema, Bhumi was recalling one such interview when Akshay suddenly left midway, she being the reason!
It so happened that, Bhumi is extremely fond of talking. No, really! She herself confessed this. During interviews, she would frequently cut Akshay midway while he spoke and would start talking himself.
”Not one…In about at least 7 interviews, we were doing back to back, somebody would ask me a question and she will start answering,” Akshay chuckled. (Also Read: Akshay Kumar has a challenge for everyone! Are you up for it?)
But in one of the promotional event, when the same happened, the actor got up and left. “In one of the interviews Sir suddenly got up and left. And I suddenly started freaking out, and he was like “tu hi baat kar le saara (you only talk everything),” stated Bhumi. This must have left her embarrassed!
Funny, right?
‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is a satirical take on India’s sanitation system and is being helmed by Shree Narayan Singh. Bhumi, who debuted with ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ in 2015, termed it as her second debut and called her co-star a great person to work with.
Professional life is rolling great for the actress now, since the trailer of her forthcoming film ‘Shubh Mangal Savdhan’ alongside Ayushmann Khurrana garnered positive response from all corners. Bhumi is also said to be doing a film with Sushant Singh Rajput wherein she will be seen playing a dacoit from Chambal.
Akshay, on the other hand, is also working on Reema Kagti’s ‘Gold’ now.
