When Alia Bhatt gushed over getting married when she is ‘ready to have babies’

Alia Bhatt on Monday made a heartwarming post and announced her pregnancy. The actress left almost everyone in shock and surprise as she shared the good news. And since then, wishes have been pouring in for the Brahmastra actress. Her friends, family and fans have showered nothing but love. But, did you know, it was once when Alia had gushed over having children. The actress had opened up about her plans of having babies.

The Brahmastra actress had spoken about the right time of marriage. Speaking about the same, Alia had said that she would get married only when she is ‘ready to have babies’. She had also said that she would ‘get married because of kids’.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Alia Bhatt had said, “Nothing is cast in stone, right? So, if I feel that I’m in a position where I want to take such a step, then I will.” She added, “I’ve always believed that I would get married because of kids. So, if I am like, ‘This is the time I want to have my children and am also ready to have babies,’ I will get married.”

On Monday morning, Alia Bhatt made a post on Instagram and announced her pregnancy with Ranbir Kapoor. The actress shared a photo of Ranbir and her from her ultrasound appointment. She even posted a photo of a lioness nudging her lion and a beautiful cub looking upon his parents. Alia captioned it, “Our baby ….. coming soon.”

Alia and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in April, this year. They got married at their residence, Vastu, in Mumbai. The wedding celebrations was attended by friends and family.

On the work front, Bhatt has been in London, busy shooting for her Hollywood debut movie, Heart of Stone. She has Brahmastra, her first movie with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, scheduled to release in September 2022. The actress even has Darlings, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, and Jee Le Zaraa, in her kitty.
