Alia Bhatt’s characters in films like ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Highway’ demanded to go through extensive preparation and utmost dedication. A large chunk of ‘Highway’ was shot on the roads, and hence came the usual on-the-go hazards.
In one of her interviews, Alia revealed how the outdoor shooting schedules of ‘Highway’ were random and unpredictable and they would hop on any good location they found. (Also Read: Here’s what Alia Bhatt’s mother has to say about her career decisions)
“We kept shooting like nomads. We were on the road in a truck and we would just stop where we saw good locations and just shoot, if the light was great. It was a guerrilla way of shooting and I had to pee in public places! I would pee on the roads and joke that people will only get to see my back,” she laughed.
We know about many who would have thrown starry tantrums at such situations.
It is only your dedication towards the craft that has taken you this far, Alia! 🙂
