Kangana Ranaut is one of the finest actresses that Indian Cinema has today. After donning the hat of a simple next-door girl character in ‘Queen,’ Kangana went up to do something like Dutto in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Return’s and she was just marvellous. Her journey in this film industry has been a full of ups and downs but, she sailed through and now is one of the leading ladies in Bollywood. A girl from a small town who fought with her parents for her freedom has now become an International star. She indeed had a tough time to get accepted in this industry all thanks to her not so conventional behaviour.
Kangana Ranaut made an entry in Bollywood alongside Shiney Ahuja in the film ‘Gangster’ and she received mixed reviews for it but she also had to face body-shaming. At the launch of Barkha Dutt’s book, Kangan Revealed that the toughest part when she entered into Bollywood was to deal with Body-shammers. She recalled one of the reviews of her debut film wherein she was described as a girl from mountains with frizzy hair and lizard-like body. Though Kangana laughs at this description now but at that point of time it would have been shocking for her.
Well, you have come a long way since then lady! Now no one would probably dare to call you like that.
Kangana would next be seen in ‘Rangoon’ along with Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
