When Nawazuddin Siddiqui used to dance at weddings for just Rs 2

The name Nawazuddin Siddiqui, spells talent in all forms. Recently, the trailer of the actor’s upcoming film ‘Munna Michael’ was released and it opened to a delightful surprise as we witnessed Nawaz dancing in the movie. The actor has countless times admitted that dance is not his forte, but he recently made a confession which will indeed explain some of the dancing talent that he possesses. Did you know Nawaz used to dance at weddings as a kid to collect money.

While talking to a leading news agency, Nawaz said, “As a kid, I used to often dance at weddings with my friends. People used to throw money at baraatis (friends and families of the groom). I along with my friends used to attend all of the weddings in our area and collect money. By the end of the day we used to manage to collect Rs 2 to 3 and that was too much for us that time.” [sic]

Further, talking about taking up the film and his dancing stint in ‘Munna Michael’, he said, “I don’t know dancing and I usually stay away from it. When my director Sabbir Khan told me about this role I told him I can’t do it. But he convinced me to take up the film and made sure I follow his vision.” [sic]

Certainly, we are now looking forward to this talented performer’s solo dance number in ‘Munna Michael’. We have heard his co-star Nidhhi Agerwal’s praises for his steps in the same and can’t wait to watch it ourselves.

She said, “You have to watch Nawaz sir’s dance number. It’s brilliant and he has worked really hard on it. I was on the sets when he shot for it. He is fantastic.” [sic]

‘Munna Micheal’ stars Tiger Shroff playing the lead role and is slated to release on July 21, 2017.
