When Prabhas turned incognito and sneaked into local theatres

Amid films and their frequently bloated box office figures, here was a magnum opus in true sense that changed the dimensions of Indian cinema forever. ‘Baahubali 2’, the second edition of ‘Baahubali’ franchise went on to break all possible records and witnessed an all-new frenzy.

For an actor, Prabhas in this case, the biggest takeaway is the unconditional love and appreciation from viewers. Even after all the raving reviews and astonishing box office figures, Prabhas was keen to experience the audience’ reaction himself. The actor took a break after the film releases. It was a well-deserved one, for he devoted five long years to the franchise and signed no other work. As soon as he came back to India from his London trip, he would sneak into local theatres whenever possible, obviously in an unrecognisable avatar. Looking at the crowd that cheered and clapped, he would get immense satisfaction.
