When Ranveer had a breakdown moment in ‘Bajirao Mastani’…

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ made everyone feel the love that they share. Their chemistry was scintillating and their portrayal of Bajirao and Mastani made this period-drama film worth a watch. The film that narrated the eternal love-saga of Bajirao and Mastani had quite a few moments that shook the lover inside everyone. Especially the song ‘Aayat’ had that impact. The music, the lyrics, the visuals and the love, ‘Aayat’ brought the soul to the film. And well, not just the viewers, but even Ranveer too had an emotional breakdown while watching that song.

On Neha Dhupia’s talk show #NoFilterNeha, Ranveer revealed the same. While in conversation, Ranveer was asked to dedicate a song to given celebrities. So when the name of Deepika Padukone arrived, he stated, “When ‘Aayat’ plays in ‘Bajirao Mastani’, the way it’s used, is like Mastani has just been captured and there is a really intense close up of Deepika’s when the song starts and she is in chain and been taken to the prison and that is the one point in the film, that I break down.”

Aww… that’s the power of love, we guess!

On this note, we would once again get to see the power of love in their upcoming film ‘Padmavati’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Unfortunately, we may not get to see the intense love between Deepika and Ranveer, but their presence in one film together is more than enough for us to get excited. Shahid Kapoor too would be a part of this project. He would essay the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh while Deepika would be Queen Padmavati.  Alauddin Khilji would be played by Ranveer Singh, and it is the first time the actor will essay a negative role in his career. The movie is slated to release in November this year.
