When Salman didn’t want to be addressed as BHAI. Here’s why

Salman Khan has been in the industry for almost three decades, and during the time, has come to be known by various names. He has been fondly called Prem, Dabangg Khan, Tiger. But the most common one has been ‘Bhai’. Be it an actor from B-town or a fan of Salman, the superstar is everyone’s Bhaijaan. Well, Salman himself loves being addressed likewise. But there was an occasion when Salman didn’t want to be referred to as ‘Bhai’. According to sources, at the recent success interviews of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ where Salman along with Katrina Kaif and director Ali Abbas Zafar were giving interviews for the film, the female anchor in the interview referred to Salman as Bhaijaan which he couldn’t take. Salman thought the anchor addressed him as Katrina’s Bhaijaan. The star was quick to negate the same as he quickly said he is not Kat’s brother and started laughing, and was joined by Katrina and director Ali Abbas Zafar. The anchor then explained to the actor that she was calling the actor by his commonly known name and was not referring him as Katrina’s bhai.

However, later when the interview was wrapped up, Salman confronted the journalist and kind of made it clear that he does not like it when girls address him as ‘Bhaijaan’.

Well, looks like Salman who’s fond of being known as Bhai, has one condition, and that is that only men can call him BHAI, and not women.

On the work front, Salman will next seen in director Remo D’Souza’s next ‘Race 3’ which is a multi-starrer. The film also has Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem in pivotal roles.
