Shah Rukh Khan shares a great bond with choreographer-director Farah Khan. While the actor recently got honoured at 77th Locarno Film Festival a video of him with Farah Khan is doing rounds. In a viral video from Farah Khan’s wedding with Shirish Kunder, Shah Rukh is seen performing her Kanyadan. While several netizens appreciated his gesture some recalled the time he had slapped Shirish Kunder.

For the unversed, the video dates back to 2004, when Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder had tied the knot. Seeing the adorable video, fans recalled SRK and Farah’s friendship. Some of them even remembered the brief tiff between them which happened after Khan reportedly slapped Shirish. “Didn’t he slap her husband? Shirish is silent about SRK after that incident. But he trolled and mocked him and Ra-one on Twitter. Don’t exactly know why,” wrote one of them.

Farah and Shah Rukh’s friendship has been so strong that Shah Rukh was the first person outside Farah’s family to know that she was expecting triplets. In an interview for Nova IVF Fertility’s YouTube channel, Farah Khan recalled conceiving while filming Om Shanti Om and how Shah Rukh Khan comforted her in her times of duress.
Recently, when Farah’s mother passed away, Gauri Khan and he arrived at Farah’s house to pay his last respects to her mother, Menaka Irani. SRK and Farah’s friendship dates back to 1994 when they worked together on Kundan Shah’s ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. Farah and Shah Rukh went on to not only become great friends but also collaborated on many movies. He starred in her directorial debut film, Main Hoon Na, followed by Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year and others.
