Sonam Kapoor is one actress who manages to keep her personal life to herself. With cameras and paparazzi spread in every corner of this world, it is very difficult to hide something from the media, but Sonam does it efficiently. She never speaks about her alleged relationship with Anand Ahuja in media nor does she pay heed to any story around her marriage.

Talking about marriage, it is generally presumed that an actress’ shelf-life comes to an end as soon as she ties the knot. So when asked about this and keeping her personal life under wraps, Sonam quoted to a news agency, “I will start talking about it when the media will start asking the same questions to all the male actors in our industry — about how they will take up their career after marriage, when will they make a comeback after the birth of their baby… This whole attitude towards married actress should be changed.”
“Whether it is Nutan, Nargis, Waheeda Rehman, Sharmila Tagore, Dimple Kapadia, Madhuri Dixit, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor Khan — they are all loved by our audience even after their marriage. So the mindset has been encouraged by a few filmmakers and media people. But hey, there are progressive and non-progressive minds in every business. So as in our industry. We should keep working… the change will come,” she said further.
As always, Sonam has a point to make.
She is currently busy promoting ‘PadMan’.
