Whoa! Crater on moon named after Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his upcoming thriller ‘Fan’. The Maneesh Sharma directorial is a story based on the relationship between a superstar and his die-hard fan. The film has King Khan in a dual role of the Fan and the Superstar. The actor who has a huge fan following across the world has confessed that his fans convey their love for him through gifts too.

King Khan said, “I have male and female fans. I am happy that I have female fans and also boys who will emulate me and want to be like me. I think more than fans, more the admiration that people have. Without sounding self-obsessed, for me, that obsession of a person is very interesting.”

SRK confessed that his fans do gift him on his birthday and he has stored these mementos of love till date. “Two people have gifted me pieces of the moon. I have a certificate too. Two Australian ladies have gifted them to me on my birthday and even named it after me. A crater is named Shah Rukh. Also, I think the sweetest gifts are the ones where people write to me. There are books of me with years of cuttings, which is very touching. Nowadays people all around the world give me gifts for my kids now. So there’s a good T-shirt for Aryan, a nice dress for Suhana and clothes for AbRam. It is truly incredible.”

YRF’s ‘Fan’ will be hitting the theaters on April 15.
